As a boy growing up on my grandmothers' farm, I was always struck by the beauty of nature around me. With my dad by my side I became a skilled hunter, an avid fly fisherman and learned to express those days in the field with a camera. Through the years I have been able to combine my love for the outdoors into a business. Always a fisherman and wanting to help other enjoy the sport, I opened a fly fishing shop in Baltimore, Maryland. In the process, I became a freelance writer, speaker, author of several books and booklets on the art of fly fishing, doing all of the photography work for the books and my slideshows.
